Student Projects: A Tour of Boblo

Boblo Island Documentary by Caroline Bree

Digging Detroit is proud to share a look at former amusement park, Boblo Island, produced by Caroline Bree of Grosse Pointe South High School.  The project received an Excellence Award at the 48th Michigan Student Festival at the DIA on April 23, 2016–produced by the non-profit Digital Arts Film and Television (DAFT).  Caroline’s teacher is Steve Geresy.

This documentary was produced by Caroline B, an Advanced Video student. The topic was the current state of Boblo Island. It was videotaped with a Canon 70D DSLR and GoPro Hero 3+. Post-production was completed using Final Cut Pro X.
